There is already plenty of emotional turmoil in the country when a young teacher who’s gay arrives from Prague and brings more. After he settles in as science teacher at the grammar school, he meets a woman who is a fiercely independent dairy farmer. He agrees to help her teenage son with his schoolwork. After the boy’s girlfriend returns to school in the big city, the teacher falls for him.
Some outstanding performances make this film worthwhile.
