Chris Pratt (Gordon-Levitt) is a young man who suffered a traumatic head injury. As a result he has trouble remembering the sequence of events in everyday life. Four years after his accident, Chris attends a rehabilitation program and works as a night janitor. He lives with roommate Lewis (Daniels), who was blinded years earlier in a meth lab blowup.

Somewhat estranged from his wealthy family, Chris has no other friends or social life. A con man befriends Chris and manipulates him into joining his crew of nasty bad guys to commit a crime.
